According to the World Health Organization, the pace of population aging is much faster than in the past. Lifestyle changes maybe key to not only extending your life span (amount of years you live), but your health span ( how long you live with good health without issues), too. According to recent studies, these lifestyle changes include:

Exercise – many experts and studies suggest that people who are active outlive those that seldom move.

Getting adequate sleep (which can play a role in supporting your heart and overall health)

Limiting your alcohol intake, not smoking, and eating well.

Having positive relationships and social interactions.

Fasting for 14 hours (limiting the time spent eating keeps cells and organs–including the brain–in sync)

Pursuing a hobby, learning a new skill, volunteering or mentoring.
